Dress Code

The building principal shall monitor student dress and grooming in the building.

Clothing that is lewd, vulgar or creates a school climate of excessive showmanship such as clothing with sexual, drug, or tobacco connotations shall be considered inappropriate and subject to disciplinary action.

Shorts and skirts must follow the following guidelines:

  1. The length of shorts and skirts can be no shorter than the longest fingertip when standing and relaxed with the arms at the sides.
  2. Spandex or spandex-like material or shorts that are tight are not permitted.
    1. No cut off sweats.
    2. No frayed cut off jeans.
    3. No shorts with worn or torn holes.

Bare midriffs are not permitted.

Muscle shirts, tank tops/spaghetti straps or see-through clothing, etc. are not permitted.

Clothing with obscene or suggestive pictures, or clothing displaying and/or promoting drug use, alcohol, tobacco products, violence, sexual innuendos, profane gestures or profanity is not acceptable.

Clothing which is or revealingly or excessively tattered, such as ripped or torn jeans, is not acceptable.

Clothing must be sized appropriately. Clothing which is revealingly tight is not acceptable. Clothes must fit, and pants must be worn around the waist.

Coats, overcoats and jackets may not be worn in the building.

No hats or head coverings may be worn in the building.

No hoods may be worn in the building. Hooded sweatshirts may only be worn if the hood is not used or worn in the building.

No pajama pants or sleepwear will be permitted.

No visible external body piercing of any kind other than ears will be permitted.

Chains, exposed safety pins, needles and/or all other ornamental jewelry that could be potentially dangerous to the student and others are prohibited.

Colored hair, other than natural hair colors and/or spiked hair longer than two and a half (2½) inches is not permitted.

Wednesday, May 22nd. High School Solo Concert

All concerts begin at 7pm and are will take place at the high school auditorium

Extra yearbooks will be on sale on a first come first serve basis. The cost of the yearbook is $75 and they can be purchased in the high school office.
