Jackson Elementary School

Jackson Elementary School

Welcome

At Jackson we are dedicated to upholding our mission to accept, hear and value all in the school community and to provide a safe environment that fosters achievement and success. We do this through a challenging, standards-based curriculum: quality educational experiences from a highly skilled staff who employ effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate practices and current technology. Every student receives instruction in Language Arts (Reading, Writing, English and Spelling), Math, Social Studies, Science, Music, Art, Physical Education, Library and Computers.

Our elementary program is designed to foster individual student growth, both academically and socially. The strong work ethic of our community is reflected in our children, as they are encouraged to work to their maximum potential. The students' and faculty's effort has its reward in our tradition of high scores on the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment. The principal, counselor, teachers and paraprofessionals work collaboratively to ensure an excellent learning environment for all students.
